This is wonderful on so many levels – a beautiful relationship with your daughter and giving her critical guidance with her future personal finances – you rock Rocky!
Thank you Brent! Thankful to be able to have the time and resources to spend time with her.
This was one of my favorite episodes. I’ve raised two young adults (22 and 17) as a single mom for years and tried to instill the importance of hard work, financial awareness, and good choices. I finally feel like they’re getting it. Sure there are things I wish I had done differently but I feel like all my experiences are lessons learned for decisions I will make in the future.
You’ve raised an articulate, confident daughter who has a very bright future in front of her.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Congrats on raising two young adults, and yes the struggles are where you learn!
Terrific episode! I hope your daughter recognizes how impressive her accomplishments so far have been. She surely has a bright future ahead, no matter what path she chooses.
Thanks Mike. She does, and she has continued on in the years since we recorded that episode. Maybe it’s time for an update!
